It rains for almost two weeks. The water level is so high that the turbine stops and does not work. Very unfortunate, but there is little you can do about it. In between the showers I am working outside. I recently picked up a dog at the shelter. Good boy, his name is Pablo, but I have to keep an eye on him. He has already taken off a few times! This weather allows me to work inside.

My shop is ready and I have all kinds of products for sale. Pesto, jams and chutney, including homemade soaps. I made one with lard from my own pig and one with coconut oil for vegetarians and vegans.

I am now busy getting the kitchen done. I bought nice chairs and gave them a new color. The counter top is ready and the stove installed. Nice (cooking) workshops can be held here in a few weeks. The first vegan cooking workshop will be at the end of April / beginning of May. Keep an eye on my page, Instagram or Facebook for more information. Awesome, so looking forward to this!

After rain comes sunshine and a beautiful rainbow. I continue to enjoy the beautiful place that I have created. Hope to see you soon at the mill.

 

Monday started of foggy, but after mid day it was a beautiful sunny day. My cousin helped me with building the bridge. Look at the result!
